Celebrating the Retirement of Dr. John Schuster
This September, the Mayfield Smiles team had the pleasure of celebrating Dr. John Schuster’s well-deserved retirement with a luncheon at StoneWater Golf Club. Surrounded by colleagues, friends, and laughter, it was the perfect send-off for someone who has dedicated his life to caring for patients and mentoring others in the dental community.
Dr. Schuster has been part of the Mayfield Smiles family since 2019, and we have absolutely loved working alongside him. His compassion, humor, and unwavering commitment to patient care have made a lasting impact on both our team and the many smiles he’s helped create.
A proud graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Schuster began his dental career 35 years ago in the U.S. Navy, where he proudly served and provided dental care to service members. Over the years, his passion for dentistry grew, particularly in the field of orthodontics. His dedication to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles has been an inspiration to us all.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Schuster is known for his generous spirit and love of giving back. He regularly volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House and has touched countless lives through his community service. When he’s not volunteering or caring for patients, Dr. Schuster enjoys traveling the world, golfing, spending time with his beloved dogs, and being with his family.
Dr. Schuster is a proud father of two and is looking forward to enjoying more time with his family as he begins this next exciting chapter of life.
Dr. Schuster, thank you for your years of service, your kindness, and the joy you’ve brought to Mayfield Smiles. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will continue to shine through every smile you’ve helped create.
Congratulations on your retirement — you’ve earned it!
