4 Dentist-Recommended Tips for Avoiding Bad Breath

When bacteria builds up inside your mouth and on your tongue, it can lead to stale-smelling breath.  If you want to avoid having bad breath while you’re out and about this summer, check out these helpful dentist-recommended tips to keep your mouth feeling and smelling fresh and clean! 

  1. Rinse with an alcohol-free mouthwash.  

    Swishing with mouthwash daily is a simple and effective way to kill bad-breath bacteria and leave your breath smelling fresher. Choosing an alcohol-free product will eliminate the harsh burning feeling that’s associated with alcohol. For best results, try making this part of your everyday brushing routine. 

  2. Floss your teeth and tongue.
